Track Review: In the wrong

Welcome back Vision and Vibes family! We've got a special track to showcase here today. The New York native Elion Melody has dropped off his latest single titled "In The Wrong". It's a mid-tempo, breezy R&B cut that finds the Pop crooner in a world of regret doing the one he loves wrong. The track gets a helping hand from the producer of the track ,Padre Toxico, who provides the instrumental on the single. Let's take a deep dive into the latest single and figure out all the nuances involved.

There's no denying that "In The Wrong" is a great track and an easy listen upon hitting play. Some of this is to the credit of the production. With some chill drums and some well placed horns, it creates a near perfect vibe. Although the track itself is very emotive, it doesn't feel drenched in despair. That can be both a positive and negative. Although the production worked well, I would have liked to see something darker and more climactic as the lyrics were almost begging for something more emotional. Going into the melody; there was a lot to appreciate. The soft melody mixed in with some great falsetto showcase Elion being in his zone. The lyrics worked well here as well. Elion explains how a love that was once strong falters into just a memory. There is deep regret on the state of their relationship at this point.

If you've ever been in a relationship that went south then this may just be the story of your life. Very relatable material through and through.
